The following table describes the Tiers of Teachability into which Common Sitelen Pona assigns its word characters and punctuation characters. The purpose of these categories is to capture the way the Toki Pona community engages with Toki Pona and Sitelen Pona. In this, we understood that there is a wide array of ways in which any given member of the community may use Sitelen Pona, but community-wide, there are clear trends that emerge in what features any given speaker elects to use.
